Adam Jones

The NFL is giving Adam Jones the Dallas Cowboys cornerback another chance to prove he can stay out of trouble after being suspended and reinstated. This has been the second time Jones has been suspended by the league, the first time he was suspended the entire year because multiple incidents while with the Tennessee Titans, and was suspended this year because Jones got into an alcohol-related fight with one of the bodyguards during a private party in a Dallas hotel. Owner Jerry Jones said he must miss two more games, this Sunday and the following game on Thanksgiving and he'll be back December 7th at Pittsburgh. People say that Jones shouldn't be back into the league and others say he should get another chance which he already did, if I were Jerry Jones I would release faster than a blink of an eye. The last thing the Cowboys is another distraction, the Cowboys just came off a humongous win against the Redskins that might of have kept their season alive.

If you were Jerry Jones (owner of the Cowboys) what would you do with Adam Jones? Do you think that Adam Jones should be allowed back into the NFL?

Men's College Basketball

With the regular already started where a couple of top five teams have played, it looks like Duke is pretty good. But their are many other teams who look like they have a shot at going to the National Championship Game in Detroit, Michigan. A team you will have to look out for is the Florida Gators, the Gators have four returning starters (Marreese Speights left to the NBA). The Gators have six great freshman and five of the six were all ranked in the top 100 recurting list for college basketball.

What four teams do you think will make the Final Four and predict who you think will win the National Championship?

Thursday night

There is a huge game in the AFC East on Thursday night, which includes the New York Jets v.s the New England Patriots. Both teams came off two wins the Jets won 47 to 3 against the Rams and the Patriots won 20 to 10 against their divsion rival the Buffalo Bills. Also both teams are 6-3 and whoever wins will take the a one game lead as division leader in the AFC East. The last time the two teams battled each other was in week in week 2. Matt Cassel got his first ever start, replacing Pro Bowler Quarter Back Tom Brady. Cassel got his first win as the Patriots beat the Jets 19-10. I believe the Jets are going to win and take the lead for the division with the help of running back Thomas Jones and Brett Favre will need to make no mistakes by not throwing any intercetptions.

Who do you think will win the AFC East Showdown?

Ty Law

Before the big rivalry game between the New York Jets and the New England Patriots, the Jets signed the 5 time pro bowler cornerbacks, Ty Law to a one year deal. Ty Law is 34 years old and has 52 carrier interceptions and has played for the Patriots (1995-2004), the Chiefs (2006-2007) and the Jets (2005). People are saying that Ty Law was signed for a distraction to the Patriots other are saying he was signed to help out the younger cornerbacks with his vertanship. Now the negative part, critics are saying that Law is to old to play, but he didn't care this is what he had to say "I use guys like Brett and guys like Bernard Hopkins [for motivation]. I'm sitting there like, 'If these guys can go out there at 43 years old and knock out a 26-year-old guy, and Brett can still sling that thing at 45 or whatever he is -- 50 -- I know I can still go out there and cover somebody."

Why do you think the Jets signed Ty Law halfway through the season

Jets

The New York Jets are coming off an impresive win against their divisional rival the Buffalo Bills. The score was 26-17, Brett Favre threw for 201 yards and one interception. Trent Edwards threw for 289 yards one touchdown and two interceptions (one was returned back for a touchdown). The Jets protected Brett Favre by not allowing a sack but on the other hand Trent Edwards offensive line gave up five sacks. Thomas Jones came off a solid game with 12 rushes for 69 yards and one touchdown, while Marshawn Lynch ran for 16 yards. The Jets are on a two game winning streak and have four wins in their last five games. Now they are hosting the St. Louis Rams who came off a huge loss, losing to the Arizona Cardinals 34-13. The Rams might be without their Running Back Steven Jackson for the second time in the last three games. And the Jets might be without their Linebacker for the second straight game, David Harris.

NBA

Allen Iverson was traded to the Detriot Pistons for Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess. The Pistons have started out 4-0 and the Nuggets have started out 1-2. I believe the Nuggets got a better deal out of the trade because it going to give Carmelo Anthony more shots and more points. That will work with the help of Chauncey Billips. The reason why I say the Pistons are not getting the better end of the trade because Allen Iverson doesn't open up anything good for the Pistons, he might make a lot of points, he takes away shots from, Rasheed Wallace, Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince. Also remember Allen Iverson is in the final year of his contract.

What team do you think had the better end of the trade?

NFL Rookies

It's a little bit, half way through the 2008 NFL season. A lot of rookies have emerged this season like rookie running back Chris Johnson who is in the top five in the NFL for rushing yards (715), along with five rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown and has lead the team to an 8-0 start. Then you have rookie running Steve Slaton who leads the team with 538 rushing yards and has collected the most touchdowns on the team (besides for Quarter Back Matt Schaub, 10). Now Quarter Back Matt Ryan the Falcons first round pick, has turned around the team since last year. The Falcons have more wins then they had last year in just their first eight games this season, because of the help of the rookie Matt Ryan. Matt Ryan has 1661 passing yards and nine touchdown passes. If the Titans continue to win with the help of Running Back Chris Johnson, he will most likely win Rookie of the Year. If that doesn't happen it's going to be very interesting on who's going to win.
