The Pro Bowl where the best players from each team in each conference go to Hawaii to play against one another. This week players were voted to attend the Pro Bowl. Like every year, theirs players who are going to the Pro Bowl for the first time and some players who are going for their 10th time. Then theirs a couple of outcast players who deserved to make the Pro Bowl that didn't get voted to go. The Pro Bowl is February 8th, 2009 and it will be the first time in first two brothers are in the Pro Bowl which are Peyton Manning and Eli Manning.

As far as I'm concerned the pro bowl is a popularity contest. Farve didn't even deserve the back up slot he got with his shakey performance. Players like Chad Pennington and Jake Long deserved spots but didn't get them. I'm pretty much anti pro bowl at this point.
The player that should definetly go to the pro bowl should be the whole Chargers team and Colts team. Both teams had to play their games to win every week or else they would get eliminated from the playoffs. The Chargers almost got knock out of the playoffs because of one play that was a complete mess up. Then the Colts won nine games in a row to make the playoffs and be seeded higher then the other Wildcard team. Some one who got snubbed was Chad Pennington, even though I'm not his biggest fan, because he took the Fins from one win to ten it's an outstanding thing to do.
By far the dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington should of been in the pro bowl. They gave it to Brette Favre again, who pretty much lead his team.. well to nothing. His whole team hated him because he wasnt able to perform well in games but it still goes to the "old man." Pennington had way better stats then Favre too. But when it ends people rather watch favre at the pro bowl then pennignton because hes a bigger name
